What I knew about the company was they are NOT the contractor referral services that you see advertised in the Newspaper or junk mail. I called them too, don't waste your time, unless you want to be visited by a smooth talking commission salesperson. You hire Derek, he is your only point of contact. He does a quality job and stands behind his work. Derek is clear about what will be extra and what is included. He works along with you to make sure you are happy with the finished product. His on-site advise is based on years of experience and he know what material work and how best to spend your budget.

Prices are so reasonable and when he found problems like 4 leaky water valves he would replace them for no extra charge until we insisted. So many little things come up when you demo a kitchen and he would just take care of it.
We are so happy with the kitchen remodel. Originally we were going to reface the cabinets because the house will be rented. However, after receiving 3 refacing bids and then Derek's bid from Timeless Finishes, Derek's full cabinet and countertop replacement bid was the same as our lowest refacing bid. The cabinets are a great quality with slow close drawers. Derek even helped us decide on a couple changes we made in the kitchen design with cabinet placement. For example, after demo we decide that it would be a good time to replace our old aluminum wiring. Derek was able to add that in a timely manner and obviously we knew there would be a cost change. Derek was always clear with costs and kept track of where we were at in payments.

Derek was also always on time and never seemed annoyed when we would ask questions about certain things before they were finished (I'm sure a homeowners and their kids sticking their head in and asking about various things can be irritating).

We love how our kitchen turned out and Derek even did a few Pinterest style things for us that were new to him. But they turned out excellent.

I've heard so many horror stories from my friends about their experiences with their contractors, but I didn't have a single hiccup at all. Derek worked with me on my tight budget and he's really knowledgable. He gave me all options and even offered me advice that would cut costs (what contractor is willing to offer you a cost-saving option)? He wasn't pushy or sales-pitchy at all, but just had great intentions to make my house look great. We refaced the cabinets in my kitchen, and built-in cabinets in my living room, tore down a part of a wall, and painted my whole house. He even made me custom glass door cabinets and did beyond what was on our contract. He's extremely meticulous and precise about everything he does. His paint job (which was my biggest worry) was so clean and beautiful! I would recommend him to anyone and everyone who needs any work! We're already deciding to do a few more changes to the house (that we didn't think of before), and I would not want to work with anyone else other than him!
