Derek the owner is very hands on and easy to work with and goes out of his way to make sure you understand each step of the process and any costs vs. savings for changing or upgrading any part. We are so happy with the kitchen remodel. Originally we were going to reface the cabinets because the house will be rented. However, after receiving 3 refacing bids and then Derek's bid from Timeless Finishes, Derek's full cabinet and countertop replacement bid was the same as our lowest refacing bid. The cabinets are a great quality with slow close drawers. Derek even helped us decide on a couple changes we made in the kitchen design with cabinet placement. Read More that I took the chance because he was the best contractor ever. I've heard so many horror stories from my friends about their experiences with their contractors, but I didn't have a single hiccup at all. Derek worked with me on my tight budget and he's really knowledgable. He gave me all options and even offered me advice that would cut costs (what contractor is willing to offer you a cost-saving option)? He wasn't pushy or sales-pitchy at all, but just had great intentions to make my house look great. We refaced the cabinets in my kitchen, and built-in cabinets in my living room, tore down a part of a wall, and painted my whole house. He even made me custom glass door cabinets and did beyond what was on our contract. He's extremely meticulous and precise about everything he does. We hired him do a remodel on an upstairs bathroom and then asked him back for the entire downstairs including the kitchen (complete removal and replacement), a bathroom, a removal of part of a wall, and more. He was always responsive via text or phone call and ensured that we could live here as comfortably as possible while he worked.
